Our vision

Paper & Seed helps authors, entrepreneurs, artists and visionaries who have unique book proposals to produce industry-standard, custom books, with the help of a publishing team to curate their project according to industry standards. We offer comprehensive project support, and high-quality design based on your unique goals to help bring your vision to life, and make it the best it can be.

We publish select books under our imprint following a hybrid publishing model. Our model emphasizes pre-publication services and author consulting.

Humble beginnings

Paper & Seed began in 2019. At the time, Rebecca and her colleague Apinya were creating an illustrated children’s history book as part of an artist residency in Navasota, Texas. In searching for publication options, they couldn’t find the right fit—and decided to do things their own way.

In 2 years, Paper & Seed has published 4 titles. We have also facilitated editing, illustration and design projects for additional non-publishing clients.
